"Green": ubiquitous and meaningful.

Eco-movements and grassroots groups, ...the recognition of our clear disconnection from nature, ...economic systems collapse, ...the rise of heart disease to become the #1 cause of death on a globalized scale -  these are just some of the things presenting simultaneously.

Green links these seemingly dissonant issues. 
-  The Eco-movement is clearly associated with green, as it is also known as Green movement or being Green.
-  Disconnection from Nature evokes images of trees, grass and other biota: Green is symbolic for life.
-  Money can be green. In America, it is even referred to as "green".
-  The heart, the largest electromagnetic organ in the human body, is a major "chakra" or energy center of the body. 
   The color associated with the heart chakra is green.
