life is magic.
When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

There is a W.isdom E.volution emerging...

We are only actualizing a portion of our wholeness of being. The limits of overly differentiated rationalization and quantitative constructs are becoming increasingly clear to us. The realization is unfolding of its false expansion which has disallowed the other equally valid, necessary and valuable aspects of human knowing - intuition, sense experience, and feeling - the freedom to be acted upon. When accessed, all aspects feed one another; maximizing experience, maximizing knowledge.

Many "stories", interlinked, have formed this reduction of Self - religiosity, economics, science. This is a massive and self-destructive deception. This unnatural, man-made reduction of Self has perpetuated the dismissal of the value of qualities, ethical decision making and ethical action.

Now we find ourselves facing an anthropogenic catastrophe of unprecedented scale. The scientific community is finally catching up with what some forward thinking environmentalists, ecologists, biologists and physicists started saying in the 1960's.

We are wise. It's time to awaken the sleeping parts of Ourselves to move to the next stage of our wisdom evolution.

The "merging" W.E. refers to is about the co-participatory action of all ways of knowing the world, and this idea, which W.E. embraces, is reflective of Holistic Science and the various ways by which we come to know the living earth. It is a progression in the emergence of a new story.

Relational, subjective, participatory, reciprocal, equal, cooperative, and connected: These are all key concepts in understanding complex living systems. The new science of Holistic Science merges the shared principles discovered across disciplines of the last 4 decades (such as from physics, ecology, biology, and even psychology) to expand on these basic concepts and underscore the EMERGENT PROPERTIES which are inherent in relational dynamics.

Examples can be understood with:
- Emergent behavior (ordered rhythm emerges in ant broods from random individual activity)
- Emergent forms (reactionary sodium and toxic chloride become edible table salt when joined, neither reactionary nor toxic)
- Emergent cognitive responses (relating with another may inspire creative expression, or the inner personal interplay of thinking, feeling, sensing and intuitive knowing may result with emergent insight)
- Emergent self-regulation (like the human body, the earth abounds with feedback loops which result in emergent phenomena; at the most fundamental and essential level, the earth's atmosphere is intimately interconnected with planetary biota which results with the planet's emergent self-regulatory activity maintaining optimal conditions for life)

These emergent wholes could not have been anticipated by studying just their component parts. Wholes, representing emergent new order, defy objectivity and categorization: They are "no-thing" but are not "nothing". This is the essentiality and wisdom (and mystery) of the Holistic Science of living systems.

BOTH the seeing and study of "the part" and the understanding of and responsible action to "the whole" are necessary in learning and living successfully; unfortunately, we have forgotten about the interconnected, interrelated, and interdependent whole of which we are a part and to which we are accountable.

What could emerge from our re-relating the parts within ourselves, from the re-engagement of participatory cognitive knowing, and from the acknowledgement and validation of the necessary reciprocal relationships we inherently share with all life outside of ourselves (human and other-than-human) that we must sustain naturally and responsibly?

These awarenesses will lead us back to health: personal, social, and planetary.
